The synonym of The Drama is fulfillment of a dream, crystallizing and presenting a vision on stage which lets the audience peeps into the very soul of the presenter as it unfolds. At times an artist may look like a speck in the sky, sometimes leave a trail like a jet, or at times look like a blazing comet or may only be felt just like cool breeze but never fades out. And we, at NANDINIK, follow the rainbow to believe the truth!
Basically few Bengali theatre lovers have structured this group under the guidence of Deepu Das. This Group's first production was Nagor Kotoal with various performances throughout India. And the Character "BACHIKAA" has won a special grreting in Kolkata in a Theatre Festival organized by SAYAK. Notable Plays : Nagor Kotoal, Anaam Ristey, Judhhang Dehi, Par-Purush. Other play on the way : EK Adhuri Kahani.
Just Before the performance!
BHARAT BHAVAN:
The Bharat Bhavan, literally 'Abode or Home of India'. It was conceived and established as a cultural complex in the early 1980s. Since then, this museum-library, theatre and music centre has played a vital role in the contemporary art sense, attracting artists and performers from all over India and abroad.
Inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of India, Shrimati Indira Gandhi on 13th February 1982, Bharat Bhavan is multi art centre set up to create an interactive proximity between the verbal, visual and performing arts. It provides space for contemporary expression, thought, quest and innovation. Bharat Bhavan seek to provide a creative and thought provoking milieu to those who wish to contribute something new and meaningful, in contemporary scene in the fine arts, literature, theatre, cinema, dance and music. It houses some of the best and most lasting that is being created in our towns, villages and forests.
Charles Correa the architect, found here the possibilities of a series of terraced gardens, which would be seen cascading down to the lake. The visitors enter at the highest level and walk down a pedestrian spine, flanked by a pattern of courtyards, to reach the various parts of the complex. Each curve and space defines itself. Each of the part of the building is distinct yet flows easily one another, linked by meandering paths. The total effect is one of the surprise and pleasure. There is always a moment when the eye can rest and the mind contemplates.
The Bbhavan regularly organizes special exhibitions, programmes and 'happenings' that may interest the visitor. This wonderful combination of architecture as well as cultural extravaganza is a must see for every visitor.

First of first I am not HE, Iam SHE, Iasked " can you perform",that doesn't mean there is show is waiting for you,,,you people are not professional that is for sure, try beleive people first then do theatre,be a good human being..see ah...Hazel
ReplyDeleteHi Ms Hazel,
ReplyDeleteYour respond to Nandinik is really harsh. Your male/female status can not be understood by your name by any of this part of world. I don't know this group is really professional or not, but from the blog responds, I can easily understand they have already done some great work. In fact they can not just say "yes" to everybody to perform. I believe they can perform as they are doing successfully all over India and not struggling for show. Responding to your earlier query they have not done any wrong providing you contact nos/email Id to have & to provide more detail. All your allegation are wrong and your respond is very impulsive . Waiting to your response to this to understand you more. You will agree that learning has no limit .
